Dr. Jungles grew up in the Chicagoland area and completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. There she developed a passion for studying food allergies and founded a chapter of the Student Food Allergy Network, which helped college students navigate their food allergies on campus. She then went on to complete her medical training at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a residency in general pediatrics at the University of Michigan, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After completing her residency training, she returned to Rush University Medical Center to complete her subspecialty training in Allergy and Immunology. After fellowship, she relocated to Upstate New York to join Certified Allergy and Asthma Consultants as a pediatric allergist.
As an allergy patient herself, Dr. Jungles is passionate about the field of Allergy and Immunology and educating patients about allergic conditions. She remains actively involved in the field, serving on several committees for the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, including serving on the Board of Regents. She has been involved in allergy research, with a particular interest in food allergies. Dr. Jungles is currently accepting new pediatric and adult patients.
