Certified Allergy & Asthma Consultants seeks to recruit a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Allergist to join its out-patient practice.

Certified Allergy provides a complete range of allergy & asthma services for adult and pediatric patients of all ages.

About the Practice:

The physician-owned practice, Certified Asthma & Allergy Consultants, is a 6-physician, 3-nurse practitioner single specialty practice established in 1965. Each Physician has completed sub-specialty training in allergic, respiratory, and immunologic diseases. They are board-certified specialists in allergy and clinical immunology and are highly competent to diagnose and treat both adults and children with conditions relating to allergies and asthma. The practice has 5 offices and serves the greater Albany Capital District. The group is the largest allergy practice in Upstate New York and prides itself on quality of care and physician lifestyle.

Position Details:

The Allergy Physician is responsible for medical care to patients of all ages. The practice offers patients full-service allergy, asthma, and immunology care, including skin testing, patch testing, food and drug challenges, Spirometry and exhaled nitric oxide tests as part of the diagnostic tools. The practice has an in-house antigen lab where highly trained lab technicians mix the customized antigen prescriptions for all patients. The MD must be committed to an evidence-based approach to the practice of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.

Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

Certified Allergy & Asthma Consultants is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our thriving outpatient practice. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of independent clinical experience. Prior experience in allergy and asthma is highly preferred.

About Us:
Certified Allergy & Asthma Consultants is a physician-owned, single-specialty practice founded in 1965. Our team includes 6 Board-Certified Allergists and 2 Nurse Practitioners—all specializing in allergic, respiratory, and immunologic diseases. With five office locations across the Albany Capital District, we are the largest physician-owned allergy group in Upstate New York, known for our high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes.

Role Highlights:
• Full-time outpatient role with a structured onboarding program
• Includes 3-month Allergy, Asthma & Immunology fellowship-style training
• Work under the supervision of experienced allergists in a collaborative setting
• See patients of all ages for acute and chronic allergy-related conditions
• Perform and supervise allergy testing, challenges, spirometry, and immunotherapy
• Begin seeing new patients by Month 3; full schedule by Month 4
• Expectation of 9 patient visits per AM/PM session
• Use an evidence-based approach and contribute to clinical quality initiatives

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from accredited NP program
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license & DEA
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Strong EMR skills and team-based care mindset
• Minimum 2 years of independent practice required
• 1+ years of allergy/asthma experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive salary: $120,000 – $135,000 + Incentive, based on experience

Medical Reception Lead – Full-Time
Albany, NY

If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused private medical practice, consider joining the team at Certified Allergy & Asthma Consultants, the Capital Region’s leading provider of allergy and asthma care.

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Reception Lead for our offices. This position combines hands-on patient service responsibilities with leadership duties, making it ideal for an experienced medical receptionist who enjoys mentoring others, improving workflows, and leading by example. The position is based in Albany and requires up to 25% travel between practice locations to support staff, training, and operational needs.

The Medical Reception Lead will work alongside the reception team while helping coordinate daily operations, support staff development, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all medical reception duties, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, registration, and telephone support
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the reception team
  • Assist with training and onboarding new staff members
  • Help monitor schedules, patient flow, and front-office operations
  • Serve as a resource for staff questions and operational issues
  • Promote excellent customer service and maintain a positive team environment
  • Assist management with workflow improvements and process implementation
  • Support coverage needs and help maintain productivity during high-volume periods

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office required
  • Prior leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with electronic health records and practice management systems (preferably Veradigm or Allscripts) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, preferred
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between office locations as needed (up to 25%)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
