Telemedicine Visits with a Certified Allergy Physician
In response to the COVID-19(coronavirus) outbreak we are now offering telemedicine(virtual) visits for established patients.
Virtual visits are available only to those patients who have a pre-scheduled telemedicine visit, or who have been instructed by a physician to enter their virtual waiting room for a visit encounter.
For all telemedicine visits, the patient must be present for the visit. The physician will verify the patient’s identity by verifying certain demographic information of the patient prior to proceeding with the visit.
Please note that insurance coverage for telemedicine visits varies by insurance plan. During the COVID-19 crisis, many commercial and government run plans (Medicare and Medicaid) have loosened restrictions regarding the delivery of telemedicine and have waived patient costs for these visits. These rules are changing rapidly. Please be aware that we will bill your insurance for the visit. If your insurance plan determines that you are responsible for some or all of the cost of the visit, you will receive a statement from us for the balance due.
Certified Allergy uses the website DOXY.ME for telemedicine visits.
Please connect to the virtual visit 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Please note: Apple and Android smartphones are ideal for telemedicine visits, as they have built-in cameras and microphones. A desktop computer or tablet with a camera and microphone may also be used.

Type in the FULL NAME of the PATIENT and click Check In. You will be prompted for an access code that will be provided in advance by our office.
Allow your browser to use your phone’s, tablet’s or PC’s camera and microphone
Your physician will start your visit once you have connected and they are available to see you. If you are unable to connect with the physician, please call our office at (518) 434-1446 during normal business hours for assistance or to reschedule your visit.
