Certified Allergy & Asthma Consultants seeks to recruit a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Allergist to join its out-patient practice. Certified Allergy provides a complete range of allergy & asthma services for adult and pediatric patients of all ages.
About the Practice:
The physician-owned practice, Certified Asthma & Allergy Consultants, is an 8-physician single specialty practice established in 1965. Each Physician has completed sub-specialty training in allergic, respiratory, and immunologic diseases. They are board-certified specialists in allergy and clinical immunology and are highly competent to diagnose and treat both adults and children with conditions relating to allergies and asthma. The practice has 5 offices and serves the greater Albany Capital District. The group is the largest allergy practice in Upstate New York and prides itself on quality of care and physician lifestyle.
Position Details:
The Allergy Physician is responsible for medical care to patients of all ages. The practice offers patients full-service allergy, asthma, and immunology care, including skin testing, patch testing, food and drug challenges, Spirometry and exhaled nitric oxide tests as part of the diagnostic tools. The practice has an in-house antigen lab where highly trained lab technicians mix the customized antigen prescriptions for all patients. The MD must be committed to an evidence-based approach to the practice of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.
